Let our NAMTCHEMA N°1 throw in vintage ndop transport you to the heart of Cameroon.
Royal fabric of the Bamiléké, this vintage throw seduces with its indigo patina and its unique texture, combining the softness of old cottons with the raw aspect of manual weaving. It is an invitation to discovery, bringing a touch of adventure and authenticity to your interior. In pure cotton, entirely spun, woven and dyed by hand, our vintage ndop throw NAMTCHEMA N°1 is unique and spectacular. Its noble material, 100% natural, combined into fine strips sewn in the pure tradition of West African artisanal weaving, is enhanced by traditional designs. The freehand lines are covered with very tight raffia seams before dyeing to avoid impregnation. Once the fabric is dyed and dried, the seams are removed to reveal patterns that are graphic, ethnic and very contemporary.
With its symbols imbued with mystery and spirituality, the NAMTCHEMA blanket is a rare and unique invitation to adventure, making your interior a setting for stories, daydreams and discoveries.
Any irregularities such as discolorations, pattern variations, design and paint stains, etc. are not defects, but testify to the unique character of our creations and this ancestral textile craftsmanship that we wish to promote.
- The incomparable texture of hand-spun organic cotton.
- Our cotton is as close as possible to its natural state. Unbleached, rinsed with water and dyed using natural, vegetable or mineral pigments, it can sometimes still contain small fragments of cotton plan in its weaving.
- Complex and timeless ethnic patterns, loaded with symbols that tell a story.
