FO - Vintage Indigo & Lin Textured - Handmade Ndop Cushion - 30x50 or 45x70 cm

FO - Vintage Indigo & Lin Textured - Handmade Ndop Cushion - 30x50 or 45x70 cm

Un tissu royal du Cameroun, teint à l’indigo, pour un coussin rare et profondément élégant.

Description

The cushion FO brings together two exceptional textile worlds: a deep blue vintage Ndop and a sober and elegant textured linen.
On one side, a royal Bamileke fabric, dyed with natural indigo and adorned with geometric symbols that tell, according to the tradition of West Cameroon, stories of royalty, spirituality and prosperity.
On the other, a structured greige linen, produced by one of the last linen production cooperatives in northern France.

Proposed in two formats – 30x50 cm and 45x70 cm – the FO cushion fits a bed as well as a sofa or armchair.
The two formats can also be combined to create a beautiful visual balance on a sofa, playing on proportions and textures.
Each piece is handmade in Belgium, in very small series, with its filling cushion included.

Pair it with the NDOP plaid NAMTCHEMA for a textured and deep ambiance or create a striking contrast with plain cushions in mud cloth

Each FO cushion is a unique piece, marked by the natural variations of ancient Ndop: differences in weave, color or pattern make up the richness of this living craft.

To maintain the sparkle of vintage ndop dyed with natural indigo and the quality of linen, we do not recommend the washing of the cover.
If a cleaning is essential, however, we recommend delicate dry cleaning by a professional. Please note that solvents can, however, affect the natural dyes of your vintage ndop.

Furnishing cushion: Machine washing at 60 ° C maximum, drying with a possible drum.
