KONA brings rhythm to your interior. Its broad chevrons unfold in successive lines across bogolan with a visible texture. The pattern's irregular edges and visible seams add depth to this expressive geometry.
Two palettes reveal different characters. In Anthracite, black blends with deep grey for a subtle contrast and an understated presence. In Khaki, the black chevrons stand out more distinctly, bringing a leafy shade of green to life.
With its generous 45 × 70 cm size, KONA dresses a sofa, accents a bench or complements a headboard. On its own, it makes a statement with its pattern; paired with the other colour, it forms a duo around the same motif.
Made from bogolan from Mali and sewn in Brussels by the Muliéris sheltered workshop, KONA is offered as a limited series. It comes with a cushion insert for a soft, plump feel.

Care
Bogolan cover
- Dry cleaning recommended.
- Hand wash in cold water, separately or with similar colours.
- Avoid prolonged soaking and spin-drying; dry flat, do not tumble dry.
- Slight colour bleeding may occur; develops a natural patina over time.
Cushion insert
- Machine wash at 60°C.
- Air drying recommended; tumble dry on a low-temperature, delicate cycle.
KONA combines bogolan sourced from Mali with sewing by the Muliéris sheltered workshop in Brussels. The textile's texture and seams remain visible and contribute to the cushion's character.
Anthracite complements cognac leather, warm woods and ecru textiles. It adds depth to a light palette. Khaki works well on a natural linen sofa, alongside natural fibres or touches of terracotta. Its stronger contrast highlights the chevrons. For a balanced arrangement, pair KONA with plain cushions. The two colours can also echo one another on a bench or a large sofa.
Preparing your order
- Orders are prepared within 1–2 working days, except during special periods. We dispatch from Belgium, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
- We use environmentally responsible packaging: cardboard and kraft paper, keeping plastic to a minimum.
Delivery
- Delivery to Belgium and other EU countries usually takes 2–5 working days after dispatch, except during special periods.
- Free delivery on orders of €50 or more to Belgium, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
- Free delivery on orders of €200 or more to our other EU destinations.
- Below these thresholds, charges depend on the destination and the weight and size of the parcel. The amount is shown before you confirm your order.
- For deliveries within the EU, prices include VAT and there are no customs charges to pay.
Returns
- You have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return using the contact form or your customer account, followed by a further 14 days to send the items back.
- Returns from Belgium are free. For returns from our other delivery destinations, a flat fee of €8 is deducted from your refund.
- If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, Studio Matongé covers the full return cost, regardless of your country.
- We always provide a return label, so you do not have to pay any return charges upfront.
