Welcome to Studio Matongé!
Studio Matongé is a young Franco-Belgian brand of decorative items, born from the desire to combine and promote African and European know-how.
We offer beautiful, sustainable and responsible homeware and accessories, handmade using ancestral techniques.
Our creations are inspired by contemporary African art, nature and our travels across the continent.
We offer collections mainly made up of small series, or even unique pieces, showcasing noble materials and traditional know-how.
Collaborative manufacturing
Our collections are designed and produced in Brussels, Paris, Ségou, Dakar and Njoro.
Cushion covers, throws, tablecloths, placemats, stuffed animals... each piece bears witness to the richness of African craftsmanship and cultural diversity.
Natural and sourced materials
We favor linen, hemp, cotton or wool, sourced directly from communities or from surpluses from partner brands in Europe and Africa.
A local and supportive network
The production is carried out with local partners in the north of France and Belgium, including sheltered workshops.
A way to support local employment and integration through work.
