From her Cape Town studio, Clementina van der Walt creates ceramics where art and everyday use come together. Her Colour Me Bright collection plays on a bold palette — red, orange, yellow, sky blue, lime green — and a fully glazed finish, a glossy glaze that heightens the depth of the colours, in a spirit that evokes African landscapes as much as the pure forms of Suprematism.
