Genesis of the Résistances Végétales series
In 2021, Ana Bloom went on an artist residency in Morocco for a stage of The Breath Route – BREATH PROJECT in a garden she had seen come to life fifteen years earlier.
There, she reunited with its creators: landscape architect Arnaud Maurières and botanist Éric Ossart.
In the spirit of Gilles Clément’s “planetary garden,” these two landscape designers have been creating autonomous, climate-resistant gardens for over 30 years.
Ana produced a major photographic series from this experience, exhibited and published in Manifesto of the Emotional Garden (Plume de carotte Editions, 2022).
