Genesis of the Plant Resistances series
In 2021, Ana Bloom went on an artistic residency in Morocco for a stage of The Breath Route – BREATH PROJECT in a garden she had seen come to life fifteen years earlier.
There, she reunited with its creators: landscape architect Arnaud Maurières and botanist Éric Ossart.
In the spirit of Gilles Clément’s “planetary garden,” these two landscape designers have been creating autonomous, climate-resistant gardens for over 30 years.
Ana produced a major photographic series from this experience, exhibited and published in Manifesto of the Emotional Garden (Plume de carotte Editions, 2022).

French photographer and visual artist, Ana Bloom explores the themes of memory, fragility, and resilience.
His works are part of public and private collections (Fonds d’art contemporain de Seine-Saint-Denis, Berezdivin Collection – Puerto Rico).
His work has been exhibited at the Biennale de l’image tangible (Paris), at the Museum of Goa (India), at the Institut Français de Yaoundé, at DJERBADREAM (Tunisia), at The Story of Space (India), as well as at the Venice Biennale (2019).

- Orders are prepared within 1–2 working days, except during special periods. We dispatch from Belgium, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
- We use environmentally responsible packaging: cardboard and kraft paper, keeping plastic to a minimum.
Delivery
- Delivery to Belgium and other EU countries usually takes 2–5 working days after dispatch, except during special periods.
- Free delivery on orders of €50 or more to Belgium, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
- Free delivery on orders of €200 or more to our other EU destinations.
- Below these thresholds, charges depend on the destination and the weight and size of the parcel. The amount is shown before you confirm your order.
- For deliveries within the EU, prices include VAT and there are no customs charges to pay.
Returns
- You have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return using the contact form or your customer account, followed by a further 14 days to send the items back.
- Returns from Belgium are free. For returns from our other delivery destinations, a flat fee of €8 is deducted from your refund.
- If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, Studio Matongé covers the full return cost, regardless of your country.
- We always provide a return label, so you do not have to pay any return charges upfront.
