Each ZAWADI decorative bow is handmade in our Brussels workshop from wax-print offcuts used in Studio Matongé collections, giving our fabrics a second life.
Hung on the tree, tied to a handle, placed on a table or attached to a gift, ZAWADI adds colour and handcrafted warmth. No two bows are alike: patterns vary with the fabrics available, making each piece unique. Approx. 18 × 18 cm.

Each ZAWADI bow is made entirely by hand from our own fabric offcuts. This approach reduces waste, makes the most of every centimetre of handcrafted fabric and creates unique decorations rooted in African textile traditions, reimagined in our Brussels workshop.

Preparing your order
- Orders are prepared within 1–2 working days, except during special periods. We dispatch from Belgium, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
- We use environmentally responsible packaging: cardboard and kraft paper, keeping plastic to a minimum.
Delivery
- Delivery to Belgium and other EU countries usually takes 2–5 working days after dispatch, except during special periods.
- Free delivery on orders of €50 or more to Belgium, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
- Free delivery on orders of €200 or more to our other EU destinations.
- Below these thresholds, charges depend on the destination and the weight and size of the parcel. The amount is shown before you confirm your order.
- For deliveries within the EU, prices include VAT and there are no customs charges to pay.
Returns
- You have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return using the contact form or your customer account, followed by a further 14 days to send the items back.
- Returns from Belgium are free. For returns from our other delivery destinations, a flat fee of €8 is deducted from your refund.
- If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, Studio Matongé covers the full return cost, regardless of your country.
- We always provide a return label, so you do not have to pay any return charges upfront.
