The NAMTCHEMA N°1 throw transports you to the heart of Cameroon, to discover a sacred fabric: the Ndop.
Dyed with natural indigo, spun, woven, and sewn by hand according to the rites of the Bamiléké, people, this royal textile was once worn only by kings and initiates.

Composed of fine cotton strips sewn together, it is adorned with geometric patterns drawn freehand, protected during dyeing by an ancestral raffia stitching system.
Once removed, they reveal symbolic signs—between spirituality, lineage, and royalty—with a graphic power that is strikingly contemporary.

The NAMTCHEMA throw is a unique piece, rich in a deep indigo patina , raw textures , and marks of time that attest to its authenticity.
To place on a sofa, a bed, or to hang on the wall, it embodies a sensitive decoration, both bold and heritage-inspired.

Pair it with the FO cushion in vintage ndop or the MSINGI cushion cover in plain bogolan for a balanced and inspiring set.

🧺 CARE ADVICE: - Delicate dry cleaning. - These living fabrics develop a patina over time: a slight loss of color with each wash is natural.

This exceptional unique piece reveals all its nobility on a patinated club armchair, an elegant linen sofa ... the Afro version of the wabi-sabi spirit, both simple and sophisticated.
