With its irregular chequerboard pattern, the TANDA cushion brings a lively rhythm to a room. The textured bogolan weave and visible joining seams add depth to its graphic design.

The cover is made from 100% cotton bogolan from Mali and sewn in Brussels by Muliéris, a sheltered workshop.

Two colourways set different moods. White pairs a warm, creamy off-white ground with crisp black squares. Terracotta combines earthy terracotta tones with very dark brown for a warm, inviting feel.

The rectangular 30 × 50 cm shape sits neatly in an armchair, on a bench or among cushions on a bed. Pair it with plain fabrics to let the chequerboard take centre stage, or bring both colourways together for a play on contrast.

Sold individually as a complete cushion, with the cover and a 30 × 50 cm insert included. The insert is filled with hypoallergenic polyester. TANDA is ready to place in your home as soon as it arrives.

Care

Cover: remove the cushion pad. Dry cleaning recommended. Alternatively, hand-wash separately in cold water. Do not soak, rub or wring. Lay flat to air dry; do not tumble dry. Some colour bleeding or shrinkage may occur.

Cushion pad: machine-wash separately at up to 60°C. Air drying recommended; may be tumble-dried on a gentle, low-heat setting.

White TANDA adds a lively accent to a deep blue armchair and complements the warmth of cognac leather. Terracotta works beautifully with off-white linen, dark wood and soft mauve shades. Place both colourways together on a bench, or pair them with plain cushions for a balanced arrangement.

Preparing your order

Orders are prepared within 1–2 working days, except during special periods. We dispatch from Belgium, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
We use environmentally responsible packaging: cardboard and kraft paper, keeping plastic to a minimum.

Delivery

Delivery to Belgium and other EU countries usually takes 2–5 working days after dispatch, except during special periods.
Free delivery on orders of €50 or more to Belgium, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
Free delivery on orders of €200 or more to our other EU destinations.
Below these thresholds, charges depend on the destination and the weight and size of the parcel. The amount is shown before you confirm your order.
For deliveries within the EU, prices include VAT and there are no customs charges to pay.

Returns

You have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return using the contact form or your customer account, followed by a further 14 days to send the items back.
Returns from Belgium are free. For returns from our other delivery destinations, a flat fee of €8 is deducted from your refund.
If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, Studio Matongé covers the full return cost, regardless of your country.
We always provide a return label, so you do not have to pay any return charges upfront.
