The KIJIVU cushion cover from Studio Matongé is a unique piece, handcrafted in Belgium from 100% organic cotton bogolan fabrics, spun, woven, dyed, and hand-painted in Mali by traditional weavers in the Ségou region.
Its soothing pearl grey, its white dots with a refined design, its incredibly soft material—an authentic expression of cotton—add a unique dimension to your decor, both ethnic, graphic, and timeless.
Alone or combined with other models from our bogolan collection, KIJIVU elegantly highlights the cozy comfort of a sofa, armchair, or bed.
Feel free to combine it, for example, with our KIVUJU model for a successful mix and match and a subtle play of tone-on-tone differences.
Irregularities such as discolorations, pattern variations, design and paint stains, etc.are not defects, but rather reflect the unique character of our creations and the traditional craftsmanship that we wish to promote.

🧺 CARE INSTRUCTIONS: - Dry cleaning recommended. Cold hand wash possible or machine wash, short and delicate cycle, max 30°C. - Wash alone or with similar colors, as natural dyes may bleed. - Lay flat to air dry. Tumble drying is prohibited. - These living fabrics develop a patina over time: slight color fading with each wash is natural.
