Les Espiègles brings together a little tribe of mini soft toys in GOTS-certified organic cotton, hand-knitted in Kenya. Choose from ten animals, each with its own shape and charm: Suzon the rabbit, Gaston the cat, Anatole the elephant, Hugo the lion, Marcel the monkey, Theo the zebra, Leontine the giraffe, Max the dog, Ernest the leopard and Lili the unicorn. A compact 13 cm size for little hands, lovely to collect or give as a distinctive first gift.

Each piece is knitted and sewn by hand in Kenya by the women of Kenana Knitters, a social enterprise based in Njoro. Depending on the colour, the cotton is left in its natural, undyed ecru shade or coloured with azo- and cadmium-free dyes.

Each mini soft toy is signed by the woman who knitted it. Small variations in colour or shape make every piece unique.

Preparing your order

Orders are prepared within 1–2 working days, except during special periods. We dispatch from Belgium, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
We use environmentally responsible packaging: cardboard and kraft paper, keeping plastic to a minimum.

Delivery

Delivery to Belgium and other EU countries usually takes 2–5 working days after dispatch, except during special periods.
Free delivery on orders of €50 or more to Belgium, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
Free delivery on orders of €200 or more to our other EU destinations.
Below these thresholds, charges depend on the destination and the weight and size of the parcel. The amount is shown before you confirm your order.
For deliveries within the EU, prices include VAT and there are no customs charges to pay.

Returns

You have 14 days after receiving your order to request a return using the contact form or your customer account, followed by a further 14 days to send the items back.
Returns from Belgium are free. For returns from our other delivery destinations, a flat fee of €8 is deducted from your refund.
If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, Studio Matongé covers the full return cost, regardless of your country.
We always provide a return label, so you do not have to pay any return charges upfront.
