Description
Description
In 2021, Ana BLOOM went on an artistic residency in Morocco for a stage of "La route des SOUFFLES, BREATH PROJECT" in a garden that she saw being born fifteen years earlier. There, she met her designers, a duo formed by landscape architect Arnaud Maurières and botanist Éric Ossart. This was the birth of a new artistic conversation between them and Ana.
Following in the footsteps of their first mentor Gilles Clément, and the idea of the "planetary garden", Arnaud Maurières and Éric Ossart have been developing gardens on several continents for over three decades.
These gardens, whose plants are sown to grow in total or quasi-autonomy, are designed to resist climate change.
Ana's photographs taken in some of the most beautiful of these gardens will be published in their book "Manifeste du jardin émotions" published in 2022 by Plume de carotte.
Studio Matongé is today selling signed and framed limited edition prints from this photographic series called “Résistances Végétales”.
Each of the Piezo Charcoal prints on 350 gr fine art paper, in 10x10 cm format, is the subject of an edition signed by the artist and framed in 100 copies + 2 artist's proofs.
