Entirely made with 100% organic cotton vintage Mossi artisanal fabrics, spun, woven and dyed by hand in Burkina Fasso, the UZURI cushion cover by Studio Matongé is produced by hand in Belgium.
Its patinated stripes in anthracite grey, green and brown tones blend easily with a wide variety of plains or patterns. Alone or in combination of patterns and colors, the UZURI cushion cover easily finds its place in all interior styles. It is perfect in mix and match NISHATI and KIPUUZI covers, but also with our white bogolan models such as WEX , TAAR and DOTS cushion covers.
Each woven piece that we use is unique since it is handcrafted. In addition, our vintage fabrics bear the testimonies and marks of their past use.Authentic details such as patches, holes, stains or other signs of wear reflect their past experience and bring a timeless charm to your interior.
These imperfections tell a story that adds personality to each piece. We believe that it is this patina, which we leave raw or choose to upcycle depending on the model, which gives vintage fabrics their unique character and natural elegance.
