The TAAR cushion cover by Studio Matongé is handmade in Belgium from 100% cotton bogolan fabrics made by hand in Mali in the Ségou region. Learn more.

The combination of delicate black ethnic motifs and unbleached raw cotton yarn accentuates the graphic and timeless aspect of our TAAR model.
TAAR combines easily with other colors, textures or patterns and especially with pieces from our vintage indigo , wool or bogolan collections. Alone, it brings light and modernity to the room.

Irregularities such as discolorations, pattern variations, design and paint stains, etc. are not faults, but testify to the unique character of our creations and this traditional craftsmanship that we wish to promote.

Cushion interior sold separately.

- The incomparable texture of hand-spun organic cotton.
- Our cotton is as close as possible to its natural state. Unbleached, rinsed with water and dyed using natural, vegetable or mineral pigments, it can still sometimes contain small fragments of cotton plane in its weaving.
- Ethnic and timeless patterns loaded with symbols that tell a story
